The bus taking students home from the Ross Woodward School in New Haven crashed with the car at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18 on Middletown Avenue.
Police said that 17 students were on the bus at the time of the crash. Each was evaluated by first responders before the six students were taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital by paramedics. The other students were released to their parents.
The crash is currently under investigation by police in New Haven.
